WHAT IS CHANGING?
From November 27, 2014, WebEx Audio Services (Call-in numbers for, and Callback service to) to and from the below listed countries will no longer be available. This change will have universal impact.
- Withdrawal of Dial-in: Saudi Arabia & UAE
- Withdrawal of Call-Back: Algeria, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Yemen
Customers located in the above listed countries have already been notified of this change.
WHAT OPTIONS DO AFFECTED CUSTOMERS HAVE?
Customers who anticipate call-in, callback, and / or VoIP usage from meeting attendees located in any of the listed countries will have the following options:
- Attendees from the listed countries may dial in to one of the many toll or toll-free numbers still available within WebEx Audio (e.g. dial in to a local access number of a nearby country). For example, a participant from Saudi Arabia joins a call by dialing into the UK number.
- Meeting Hosts may use the “Other” teleconferencing option when scheduling a WebEx meeting to include an existing third party provided teleconferencing information (i.e. dial in number, participant code, etc.).
